Steven Soto

Client Success Manager

I grew up in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. After completing high school, I embarked on a brief college journey…that lasted only five days. It was clear to me that the academic path wasn’t aligned with my aspirations. Instead, I decided to pursue a self-taught journey. I delved into a wide range of interests, exploring different subjects and acquiring different skills on my own. It wasn’t limited to just self-development; I even picked up skills like how to dance. With determination and a willingness to learn and grow, I could comprehend and conquer any subject I set my mind to. The best part was that each new skill I acquired stacked into the next thing I wanted to learn about. I eventually took an interest in entrepreneurship. During the past five years I worked as a marketing and branding consultant/freelancer. As enjoyable as it was, I eventually reached a point where I desired something more fulfilling. My motivations shifted from “trying to be somebody and prove all the doubters wrong” to prioritizing serving others and spending quality time with the ones I loved. At this stage in my life. I want to make a positive impact by assisting and supporting others on their personal and professional journey.

I have worked as a consultant and freelancer, gaining experience in marketing, product development, strategy, branding, and content writing. My clients have spanned from industries such as education, insurance, coaching, and politics. I even created a branding card game to assist business owners in planning their branding and customer journey. Though I lack formal education, my dedication to learning and hands-on experience has propelled my growth. With my adaptable skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and passion for continuous improvement, I am confident in my ability to provide valuable insights and solutions in just about any field.

My Core Values are Empathy: At the heart of everything I do—there is another person on the other side of that. If I can’t really think, know, and feel what that other person is thinking. I’m not doing the best that I could be.
Experience: At every touchpoint from Awareness to Advocacy. I want the customer/client to feel seen and understood. It can be something as simple as a social media post, where the reader feels like “holy sh!t, this person is reading my mind.”
Progress Over Perfection: Trying to get things right the first time is my kryptonite. I’ve been combating that daily with the intention to ship daily and learn to love the fact that I show up every day despite the feeling of trying to make things perfect.

What I do here at Rehab CEOs is I consider myself a master generalist. You can throw me into any situation, and I enjoy getting resourceful and stitching together a solution. My focus for RehabCEOs will be getting the business owners to work on the business and get back to their lives versus working in it without an end in sight.
Something that I want to help our clients with is I want them to focus on their zone of genius. Because they have to juggle so much being the business owner. Taking something off their plate (even if it’s one thing at a time, that would bring me great satisfaction)

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts’ -believe in yourself and never give in.”
— Winston Churchill

The situations I enjoy solving for our clients are communication challenges. It seems like a lot of our problems come from a simple misunderstanding or expectations not being made clear from the beginning of any interaction.

What I love about working here at Rehab CEO’s so far, I enjoy the culture and the camaraderie. I also love the fact that we’re here to help real people directly and indirectly. What I mean by that is by helping the business owner—we help their customers get the help they need to improve their lives.
