Coach
Born and raised in Cebu, Philippines, I’m the eldest with a younger brother who’s currently studying Occupational Therapy. I’ve always been drawn to the artsy side of life, so when I went to college, I pursued Communication Arts. The subjects aligned perfectly with my interests—like theater, broadcasting, journalism, and writing. After college, I took some time off to travel, as I was torn between becoming a journalist, broadcaster, or working in radio. But realistically, those paths didn’t seem financially viable, so I ended up in advertising and corporate events.
Being an extrovert, I thoroughly enjoyed my first years of work. I met a lot of people, and my schedule was so packed that my family barely saw me. I actually enjoyed that aspect, especially coming from an Asian household with curfews and strict schedules. But as I got older, I became more of an ambivert, craving more time freedom and flexibility. I started to value family time more, and when I discovered the possibility of working virtually, it really changed everything for me.
My Core Values
Extreme Ownership: I believe in taking full responsibility for every decision and action.
Action First: Change happens after you take action — not before.
Accept and Move: Acknowledge emotions and let them pass, then keep moving forward.
Be IT: Show up in the world with integrity and be the person people respect.
Back of the Cabinet: The unseen parts of life still matter, so make them elegant and meaningful.
I’ve worked in various settings — outpatient therapy clinics, home health, skilled nursing, and hospital-based inpatient rehab at a trauma center.
From 2018-2023 I founded and operated my own physical therapy and wellness clinic which was a hybrid model. I started as cash only and by my fifth year ~ 70% of my revenue was cash with the rest being Medicare, Tricare, and a variety of other out of network insurance. During my time as a business owner I was a part of 3 different coaching programs and learned from clinic owners further along than me and from those who were just starting out.
More recently, I held a sales role at a health tech startup based in San Francisco, where I got a first hand look at how digital physical therapy is delivered at the enterprise level.
“As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.” — Rumi.
I want to help clinic owners who are hitting barriers in hiring, growth, and getting out of treatment themselves. Too many clinics struggle with reaching the level of profitability they desire. My goal is to help them break through these barriers and unlock their clinic’s potential, both in terms of business growth and impact.
I serve as a coach to clinic owners. I help them set up their clinic for success by creating a winning culture, building a profitable business, and ensuring they positively impact the greater community.
I enjoy solving problems that prevent clinics from growing and scaling — especially those related to hiring, profitability, and leadership development. Seeing a clinic break through its limitations and thrive is what drives me.
Additionally, I get tremendous satisfaction from coaching and observing people become greater versions of themselves so they can show up for their family, business, and community as this leads to a more enjoyable and fulfilling world to live in.
I love working here because of the mission to elevate the physical therapy community. The company’s core values align directly with my own, and I get to work alongside energetic, highly competent, and truly great people. What more could I ask for?!
