Collin Johnson
Accountability Coach
I grew up in a small town in Kansas, then went on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!). After college, I went to PT school at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, then worked for a year at the University of Kansas Hospital before deciding to become a traveling physical therapist.
As a travel PT, I spent 7 years exploring the U.S. and working in over 20 PT clinics, helping patients from all walks of life. I specialized in chronic pain recovery—helping patients who had been living in pain for years, sometimes decades, finally break free.
I didn’t just treat symptoms—I empowered people to understand their pain, retrain their nervous systems, and reclaim full, meaningful lives they thought were lost for good.
My travel PT journey inspired me to create my own coaching business, helping other PTs leverage the travel therapy lifestyle to create more time and financial freedom.
Experience:
- 8 years as a physical therapist (PT)
- 7 years as a travel PT
- Worked in 20+ hospitals and clinics across the U.S., learning to build strong relationships with people from all backgrounds
- 4 years as a Travel Therapy Coach, helping hundreds of PTs create fulfilling travel therapy careers
- Founded and scaled my own online coaching business and blog for the travel therapy community
My Core Values:
Kindness, Authenticity, Integrity, Creativity, Optimism, Courage, Freedom
“Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.” – George Addair
I’m an Accountability Coach. I work directly with clinic owners to provide coaching, support, and strategic guidance. I help them implement customized systems and processes designed to improve operations, streamline tasks, and help their PT clinics thrive.
Clinic owners are often stretched thin, juggling business demands and personal life. I’m here to change that. By helping build sustainable systems and supportive work cultures, I ensure that both the clinic and the people in it thrive—without sacrificing values, well-being, or purpose. When the backend runs smoothly, owners can focus on what truly matters: transforming patients’ lives while living a fulfilling life themselves.
I love helping people break free from limiting beliefs and promoting positive behavior change. I enjoy simplifying complex concepts into clear, actionable steps and bringing fresh perspective to stuck patterns.
The culture and the mission. I love that my colleagues genuinely care—not just about helping our clients’ businesses succeed, but also about improving their lives. Helping clinic owners gain more freedom, time, and fulfillment is what makes the work meaningful.

When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors with my wife and best friend, Jasmyn, and our goldendoodle, Honey Bee. Outside of work, you’ll find me reading books, writing poetry, enjoying live music, meditating, hiking, playing beach volleyball, exploring local coffee shops, dabbling in DIY projects, and just finding ways to be more present in life.
